QUESTION: Hi, Dr Shan, My name is Shang, and now I am in Canada.
I had an surgical abortion last Tuesday on a 7 weeks pregnancy. After the abortion, everything was o.k. I experience some minor bleeding and clots, and some cramp. But 3 days after abortion, my lower back start feeling pain, and the pain increased thereafter.
Now it is very severe that i cannot even sleep.
I have no fever or other infection symptoms. I am so worried about it, could it be an infection? Should I go to the hospital to check up?

it is normal that at day 3 and 4 after the abortion more bleeding and discharge is seen
than at day 1.
The pregnancy hormones leave the body slowly.
No fever means no infection.
No worry, go for a checkup after two weeks.

虽然没有fever，但是我还是对腰疼很不放心。我现在腰疼的症状是，如果躺在床上就感觉不到，可是如果下床去厕所，就会感觉到疼痛。还有今天早上出现了胃痛的症状，需要引起特别重视么？
当时做完手术之后，clinic只给我开了2颗anti-biotic，我是否需要再去开一些anti-biotic呢？ 最后，现在我的情况可否喝中药“生化汤”呢？
