I had an abortion exactly 2 months ago. During my last 2 menstrual cycles the cramps have been extremely painful. Is this due to the procedure? In the past I have never had cramps. But these ones are really bad. Nothing helps them. I usually fall asleep after them because they take so much energy out of me. The pain is so bad I'm not able to leave my bed. I have a very high pain tolerance so when I'm down in pain it worries me. Is there anything I can do?

For a better answer I need to know how many weeks you were pregnant and which method for the
interruption was followed.
Was the bleeding normal in there last periods ?
its clear that you need a check-up.
I am 6000 miles from the US so you'd better visit another doc.
Do take some pain medicin is all I can advise from here.
