QUESTION: I try making abortion using misoprostol(cytotec) pills several times but i don't make it. the only thing i feel some few pain and disappeared. the method i use is : i insert three pills vaginal and swallow two. is it a good way or not, should if continue using it . what can i do next cause i need help.  3months and one week

ANSWER: Hi Thobile Lukhele,
yes, that was totally wrong.
You need to let melt the misoprostol in your cheek. Every two hours two tabs. After one hour spit out what is left.
Not more than 12 tablets per day.
3 months and one week is pretty late for a medical abortion.
I think it is wiser to use a suctioncurettage. Surgical abortion.
But I m not sure if that is available where you live.
Vaginal insertion is useless.

QUESTION: My plan  is to use it correctly by: i read in internet which says more than 12 week we have to use 400gm of misoprostol every 3 hour five times.i want to try that may it. is it go. am living in a country which abortion is a crime.am planning to do it next week.please.

Hi Thobile again,
Do not postpone !!!
At twelve/ thirteen weeks the misoprostol method is dangerous as bleeding can be excessive.
If you absolutely want to do it, do it in the waiting area of some hospital.
You can controle whats happening in the toilets and when too much bleeding starts, you might contact the hospital staff.
Do not play with your life; you got only one.
