Question
My wife got pregnant after contraceptive failure. she was 3 weeks pregnant. We were not ready for a baby so she took 200mg of mifepristone and after 36 hours, 800 mcg of misoprostol by keeping it under her tongue for 25-30 mins. She experienced lot of cramping and stomach pain for 4-5 hrs. It has been 36 hrs after misoprostol but there has been no bleeding, she just passed some brownish sticky clot twice or thrice. Is this normal or does she needs to repeat the dosage. Kindly reply soon.

Answer
Hi Mr Vimal,

a pregnancy of 3-4 weeks is very tiny.
Not more than a spoonfull of material.
You took the pills the right way. No problem with that.
Now in India they sell a lot of fake mifepriston.
Are you sure yours were real ?
No need to repeat the dosage now.
Wait for three weeks, and if there was no period or periodlike bleeding,
repeat the pregnancytest.
I bet it will be negative.

Good luck and take care.
Never unprotected sex if you do not want a baby ! (my mantra)
