QUESTION: i had a abortion(surgical procedure) on the 3rd february 2011 and had unprotected sex on the 21st feb and 25th feb 2011 and i was due on my period on the 6th march 2011 and its the 9th of march now and still no period littel bit of crampin i dont know what to do im so confused im 22 years old and my first pregnacey was when i had the abortion please help thanks

ANSWER: Hi Lauren,
your period was NOT DUE on the 6th of march.
After an abortion periods tend to be unpredictable and irregular for even some months.
So neither there are 'safe' days.
Why unprotected sex in the first place ?
Ten days after an abortion there is already an ovulation and you can become pregnant again.
You better do a pregtest and cross your fingers.
My mantra is: never have unprotected sex if you do not want a baby.

QUESTION: thank you i come on the 10th march so wen will my next period be the 10th april. i was drunk on both times im going to use conception from now on thank you

You've been lucky !
You cannot be sure yet of the next date of your periods.
it will be regular after 2 to 3 months again.
You learned your lesson.
Drinking is OK, but using contraception is better  (;-)
