Question
I had a surgical abortion 4 days ago I was 5 weeks pregnant, I just started bleeding 2 days ago but not alot only enough for a panty liner in 24hrs. I just started taking my birth control pills today my question is will the birth control pills somehow stop this light bleeding? I am going on vacation in 11 days and I don't want to be bleeding while on vacation

Hi dear Tew,
bleeding patterns after an abortion tend to be unpredictable and irregular.
This can take 2-3 months.
With the birthcontrol pills normally you are regular quicker.
I am sorry, but nothing can be said for sure.
Have a good vacation anyway.
