Does misoprost prevent pregnancy?
Does it delay periods? i had my 1st dose-1st april before dinner,this is after 40 hrs from having sex. continued a total of 4 tablets(morning evening & night). i had painful stomach crams & thick mucus like discharges, however no bleeding. My last period was on 16th March 2011, my date was on 13th April & i havnt got my periods yet, today being 16th April here. Im worried i would become pregnant. Please advise how i should act now.

I am not a doctor so I really can't advise you on the medical aspects of this situaton. I'm not there and cannot give you a checkup. Please consult your doctor about this. Did you ever have bleeding or a period? These medications can be dangerous to your health and life. We have had reports of many women in India having bleeding problems after taking these kinds of medications. Are you in pain?
