My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 yrs. The age gap between us is 10 yrs, I'm 25 yrs old. I found that I was pregnant and decided to terminate it. We spoke about it and he wasn't happy. However, he did say that my decision will not break us up. He did not want to support my decision. He promised to stand by me and help me with it. He even proposed to get married to me if the pregnancy would annoy my parents. I'm a student, I have 5 months till I graduate and finish my studies but I still have to work on my career. So I had the abortion but since then I haven't heard from him. He sent me text saying that he can't be with me knowing that I have done that. He can't stand me any more. He doesn't want to answer my calls, not replying to my emails or texts. He said I should let him be.
I now regret my decision. I should have given him what he wanted. He's a grown man and all his friends have kids and he feels bad but I was not ready for it. I love him sooooooo much that I want to have him back. I just want things back the way they were before this nightmare. I can't stop crying. I don't want anyone in this whole world apart from him. Pls help me, what should I do or tell him????

I'm sorry to hear your story. I have counseled women and men in these kind of situations for years. He might not be able to handle the abortion even though he thought he could. He can't help the way he feels. I don't know if you will be able to have your relationship with him anymore. You can tell him if you regret your decision but he still may not be able to handle it.
