Question
Hi, I currently found out i was pregnant and did not think it was the right time for me to have a baby, so I decided to take the Cytotec Misoprostol abortion pill that was available where i live. I took the doses required on sunday April 12 and started bleeding constantly all day. On monday i took the second dose and by today i am still bleeding. I have had normal symptoms and haven't felt too weak or unable to continue with my everyday life. The problem is my partner did not know i took the abortion pill and now wants me to go to the gynecologist. I want to know if there is any risk that they will be able to tell i took it, if there might still be some left in my system or if so how much longer should i wait until i go get cheked out?

Answer
Jessica,

You should not wait to get checked out. Bleeding this long could be life-threatening at this point. Please go to the doctor as soon as possible. I don't know if anyone can tell. I don't think so but it's not worth worrying about that. Your health is of the utmost importance and it could mean your life. I have had many reports that women are having extended bleeding and even losing their lives. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com and let me know what is happening.

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
