Hi,

I had an abortion 7,5 weeks ago and I still don't have my period. Now I have kind of an akward question? Is there any possibility of sperm travelling through clothing, in this case his underwear, his jeans, my jeans, my underwear ánd a sanitary pad? This seems impossible to me, but after searching the internet and finding a lot of contradictory information, I started to doubt.
(We only 'dry-humped' once and I haven't had any other sexual activity since the abortion)

And I've now been having some menstrual pains (without having a period), as well as feeling a bit nauseous, and my stomach is making weird noises. I felt the same way when I got pregnant except that I also had sore and tense breasts and now I do not.
(I'm also pretty hungry and I have to go to the bathroom a lot but I don't regard these as symptoms since I've always been like this.)

Is there any reason for me to worry?

Dear Ann,

It's somewhat common for women to have problems after abortion with regular cycles. I don't think there is much chance of pregnancy with the situations you are describing. Is it possible that the abortion did not work and you are still pregnant?

So, you should probably have a pregnancy test and see what that says. You can find a pregnancy resource center to get a free one. Hopefully you can find a location on this website http://www.heartbeatservices.org and click on the globe in the upper right hand corner of the page.

1. You are not pregnant but are having problems from the previous abortion.
2. You are pregnant somehow.
