Hi I was reading reviews on here because i just had my first abortion and had sex a little early and i became concerned my question is, a review i read from a doctor on here named Pat G said women can get an STD from getting an in clinic abortion how so?

Answer
You misunderstood.  You can not get an STD from an abortion.  You get that from your partner if he is infected.  After an abortion if there is an undiagnosed STD, it can cause problems.  Most facilities treat with antibiotics so the risk is low.  They also have you not have sex without condoms from that same reason. All facilities use sterile technique and clean the cervix and the vagina.  All instruments are sterile or one-time use and disposable.
