ANSWER: Hello, Lyn,

I am aware of the situation in Bahrain, and my heart goes out to you. I am not able to give you any information until you give me some more about your situation. You said your last period was on June 29th, and you took pills on April 8. One of those dates is incorrect. Please let me know the correct date, and I can tell you more.

Please do NOT take Misoprostol vaginally. It can KILL you. It can cause an infection that could kill you within hours. You deserve better than that.

Let me know the correct dates, and I can then tell you more. Thank you. Take care.

QUESTION: My last period was on June 29th, July 29th was my next cycle period but it didnt come. I waited for another week for my period to come coz normally it always come early or delayed. April 8 when my period still didnt come i decided to take a test and comes out + positive then i took Misoprostol as stated on my earlier question.

I hope to read a reply from you the soonest. Thanks

Answer
Hello, Lyn,

I am still confused by your dates. Did you mean "July 8"? It makes no sense for you to take a pregnancy test nearly four months before you missed your period. That's why I need for you to make sure the dates are correct.

Misoprostol by itself often doesn't cause abortion. It is very, very dangerous. The manufacturer says it should never be given to a pregnant woman because it can kill you. It is an ulcer medication. It can cause birth defects. You should NOT take it.

Please tell me the correct date for your pregnancy test. Thank you.
