I an from untied states
I had an abortion four weeks ago and this past week on a monday i think i have my period. but thought out the four weeks i been consistently bleeding. so on 8/8/11 i started my period and thought my whole life i have never have a period this ridiculously. usually i only have my period the max is for days and the bleeding doesn't bleed this BAD!!! so i thought i have finish my period on 8/12/11 because i see little blood like the period is going away ( a change in color for lots of red blood to little of dark blood)and last night on 8/13/11 when i was about to go to bed at 11 i stated heavy bleeding where i would wet a whole pad in 20 min. with in that hour i have change 3 pad. every time i use the restroom there is this clot of blood that would come out. larger like a silver dollar and i can feel it coming out. and the bleeding is like water. PLEASE help me i don't know what going on. THANK YOU!!!
This can be normal. However, you need to contact the facility that performed the procedure. They should have an on-call doctor. You may need to go in for follow up to make sure you do not have a retained clot. You can take Motrin 800 mg every 6 hours for cramping.
