i took a mifepristone tablet on october 1 and got my periods then again i got my next period for three consecutive times but i dint get my fourth periods on the correct date is it that am still pregnant or due to any other reason?

Answer
Hello, rani,

Unless you have other symptoms, you are not still pregnant. By now, it would be very obvious you are pregnant. You could be pregnant again. You can test for pregnancy about a week after you expected your period. If the test is negative, you can re-test in a week.

If you are pregnant again, please don't take those pills again. They can kill you. They can cause you to bleed to death. They won't necessarily cause an abortion, either. If they don't cause a complete abortion, you would need surgery, because it could cause a massive infection. Either way, it could cost a lot of money to get the medical care you need to save your life.

There could be other reasons why you aren't getting your period. If you are a vegan, it could be due to malnutrition. We can talk about that if this is likely. It could also be due to stress, or if you have been working out heavily, that could cause it.

If you have any questions about what is going on with your body after this, please see a doctor. Don't go to a person who thinks abortion is acceptable. Abortion is bad medicine, and very harmful. Nobody who truly cares about you will do one on you. Please take care of yourself, and let me know what happens.

Expertise

I can help women with the consideration of their decision, and with resources, and I can share my own experiences as the mother of seven and grandmother of eleven. My approach is to show love and concern, and help women work through the issues, emotional, spiritual, practical. I also help women deal with boyfriend and family issues. I am not a doctor, but I have done extensive medical research, so I may be able to help with information. I am female. When you write, if you are or were pregnant, please tell me how far along you were or are, and if you have had an abortion, please tell me what kind. Thank you.

Experience

I have been working with women who are considering abortion for several years. I also work with women who have had abortions. Our family has also experienced adoption, so I can talk about that as well.

Education/Credentials
I am mostly self-taught. I also studied midwifery for awhile. I have spent years doing research on this topic. In fact, I have been doing research and working in this area since the early 1970's. I have been helping women online for a few years, under the guidance of a woman who was formally training in counseling.
