Question
I am a 24year old lady and I have a 2year old daughter. I have been on the Petrogen injection for the past year,my last injection was due on the 10th of December 2011 but I didnt get the injection. I recently had unprotected sex with my partner and I drank the emergency morning after pill. I want to know is it possible for me to fall pregnant because I missed my last injection, and how long does it actually take for my menstruation cycle to normalize.

Answer
Yes, you can get pregnant.  You should take a urine pregnancy test 2 weeks from when you had unprotected intercourse.  It can take up to 6 months to get a normal period.  Some women take a longer period of time up to a year and some women within the first 3 months.  You should be very careful and consider another form of contraception if you are not desiring to become pregnant.
