Question
I had a surgical abortion on October 29th, had unprotected sex on 12 days later and have not yet had a period. I took a home test that had a very faint positive line. I know it is possible to get pregnant as soon as two weeks after the abortion but I also know it is possible to continue to carry the pregnancy hormone for some time after ending a pregnancy. When or How can I know for sure? And if I am pregnant again is it possible to have another abortion or is it too soon?

You are right about the pregnancy hormones. It can be difficult to tell if you are pregnant again after an abortion. The best way to tell is to check a pregnancy test again in one week. If it is darker, it is probably a new pregnancy. If it is still faint or negative you are fine. If you are pregnant, there is no problem having another abortion.
