Question
Our pregnancy has got some complexities and doctors suggested abortion. My wife wants the abortion by medication. She is 8-9 weeks pregnant. Is it safe?

Answer
Dear Prabhat,
As long as she is under 9 weeks, it is safe. I have been providing medical abortions since 1999 and would recommend it or the aspiration procedure as the most safe and natural methods at this stage of pregnancy.   You may find it helpful to review the information on ending early pregnancy, and on the abortion pill, at earlyabortion.com and earlyoptionpill.com.
I hope this is helpful.
