Abortion/The Second Abortion

Question
Dear Dr. Joan
My girlfriend had an abortion last year, it was successful. Now she got again pregnant and we still don't want to have a child, but she is worrying to have a second abortion. Is the second abortion too risky for her health?
I will look forward to your replying.
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely
Sardor

Answer
Dear Sardor,
There are no concerns about having a second or even more abortions.  They do not cause problems with future pregnancies.  Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation about this on the internet, but you will see that the people saying that abortion causes infertility are not medical doctors, but people with political agendas.
I hope this is helpful,
Doctor Joan
