Question
The doctors told me to wait 2 or 3 weeks after the procedure to have intercourse. It has been two weeks now but I have not been back yet for my follow up procedure. I wanted to know is it ok for me to have sex or should I wait until after my follow up visit?

Hi Vaniti,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so I would check with your physician. When is your follow up appointment? I would tend to wait to see if you're supposed to have your follow up visit first. Maybe something would show up at that visit that would be detrimental if you have already started having sex again. Just my opinion.

Almost 22 years of on-the-job training onsite at abortion clinics and volunteering at pregnancy resource centers. Sonogram training and Post Abortion Counseling Training. Have done research with hundreds of women for almost 23 years regarding abortion, pregnancy and post-abortion healing.
