QUESTION: Danielle, this is the first time i tried taking abortion pills.. i am out of town on a vacation where i took a pregnancy test and it came positive... i went and saw a doctor she gave me a set of 5 pills out of which 1 i took yest and 2 m supposed to take tmrw night and 2 day after morning... now i read stuff online and came across that we dont have to swallow d tablet... now as per directed by the doctor i swallowed my 1st tablet at around 2 in d afternoon yesterday... but after reading online i came to know that one has not to swallow the tablet... could you please help me with what to do next... should i wait for d bleeding to happen or immediately take a new tablet...if new could you suggest me a name of a tablet i could go buy from the chemist rather then going consulting a doctor again because where I'm right now is a real small town and i want to do something about this really fast thanx really much

QUESTION: i'm so stupid i threw d packet thinking my sister would see but i took one tablet and rest four tablet says misoprostol tablets on it.... its alright if u cant say much through this much information i can understand =) but you know i have been having severe back pain and still d bleeding hasn't happened... but i guess d back pain is because of the tablet so m just hoping for the best... but the first tablet i took was comparatively bigger and it was hexagon in shape i guess

You should continue taking the pills as your doctor directed. It's normal that you haven't started bleeding yet, and your back pain, while incredibly uncomfortable and bothersome, is normal as well. Sometimes it can take 1-2 weeks for the abortion to be complete, so just hang in there, and if you have severe pain, or huge amounts of bleeding, see your doctor.
