My question is this:
In a case of the murder of a pregnant mother,
it is deemed a double homicides
but when a woman goes to an abortion clinic and aborts her baby..
it is not looked down upon but accepted?

I believe that actually varies-whether the fetus is considered another person in terms of crime. The woman was murdered...a woman going into an abortion clinic is making a decision about the rest of her life, which affects HER. Unless you think of miscarriages (medical term is 'spontaneous abortion') as murder...there's no comparison to be had here.
