please please help me.

rameen.

ANSWER: Hello Rameen,

Well, at first I'd say that it'd be perfectly normal for a pregnancy test to come out positive, because the hormone that detects the pregnancy is still pretty high takes a while to go back to normal. Bleeding off and on is also normal.

To start off, from what you say, you had an incomplete abortion, which is usually pretty rare, but since you were under 6 weeks, the embryo was extremely small and could easily be missed. If you have the number of your clinic, call, because this may lead to an infection. It will not develop into a baby. The doctor may need to repeat the procedure.

I know some patients do not receive anesthesia because of insurance reasons, but if you haven't already, you can check out and see if you can get anesthesia, which will make the procedure easier. I'm sorry it's so painful, but having the 2nd procedure (if necessary) will be a lot better than you being harmed due to an infection.

Good luck :)

QUESTION: hello
thankyou so much for responding so quickly:)m glad someone cares:)
can the remaining piece be terminated by medication??as you know after that painful procedure,i would prefer medication to get the rest of it out.as for me to go back to the doctor or any doctor is next to impossible.my family will nt like it.
please advice

Thankyou

Answer
Hello again :) of course, I'm sure your family also cares about how you are doing as well :)

There are rumored ways to terminate pregnancies/cause miscarriages (vitamin c, herbs, etc.). But they are extremely unsafe, and would most likely lead to serious injury.

Is there ANY way at all to go see a doctor/visit a clinic? Even just to check up on the post-abortion process? If there is a Planned Parenthood clinic anywhere nearby, I strongly recommend going. Or some place that gives free exams/testing.

It sounds like it was a really painful procedure, which is unfortunate :/ If it comes down to where you have to get another DNC, I'd hope your family would understand it is a medical procedure that is necessary for your health. And know, that with anesthesia, if it's possible, the pain would be FAR less. The worst would most likely be heavy cramping afterwards.

But, it seems like a tough situation you're talking about. Just remember that if you start to bleed heavily, get to a doctor ASAP, b/c that is definitely bad, and a possible sign of infection.

any more questions or help, feel free to ask :)
