Abortion - Pro Life Views/School Project

Question
Hello,

I am researching and finding information for a school project about abortion and how we can help make a difference about it (pro-life, of course).  My teacher suggested that we contact some experts, so could you please briefly answer of few of these questions?

Why did you choose pro-life over pro-choice?

What do you think about the court case Roe v. Wade?  Do you think it will ever be overturned?

How do you think I can make a difference in the pro-life field?  What are ways you know that are effective?  I am just a student in middle school.  What can I do?

Thank you Bill!

Answer
I will try to answer your questions.
I chose pro-life primarily because I find abortion to be barbaric.  We as a society supposedly look out for the rights of each other and those are to be protected.  An unborn child, with abortion as an option, has no rights.  The means used to abort a child is so outlandishly evil.
If a similar procedure were to be done to an adult for example, even "pro-choice" people would be irate.  There are plenty of sources you can go to to find specifics on what actually happens during an abortion to the unborn child.
I can understand Roe v Wade, and I understand how some issues should be up to each individual state.  It is amazing how many states tolerate and allow abortions to be performed in their states.  Whether this was foreseen or not at the time of Roe v Wade is not known.
You can make a difference by calmly voicing your opinion.  If the subject comes up, speak your mind, but do not be so confrontational that it ends up losing your credibility.  The issue of abortion is so volatile.
Even though you are in middle school, you can consider writing to senators and house of delegates and house of representative members.  Not all will reply to your liking, but that is okay.  They listen to what is said.
Consider running for public office when you are older.
Regardless, stay strong in your beliefs, be courteous to those of other beliefs, but do not waver from yours.
I wish you well.
