Question
I would like to know how Roe v. Wade could be overturned. Would it be by an act of congress? The reason for my question is to more fully understand checks and balances. It has seemed that the Supreme Court has the final word on such matters and if so, where's the check and balance on the Supreme Court. But if this law can be overturned by Congress, therein lies the check and balance. Thanks for taking the time.

Answer
My understanding is that Congress cannot overturn a Supreme Court ruling, unless a constitutional convention is called to change part of the Constitution.  I don't see this happening.
A law can be amended by Congress, so this does not override the Supreme Court, but can in a way sort of get around that.
I think that can be an excellent idea and/or having a President who elects more Supreme Court Jurists who support life.
Thanks for an excellent question.
