Question How does "Abortion" reflect these 5 expectations:
- develop self knowlege
- froster personal growth
- inculate moral values
- encourage students to learn to live with others.
- provide discussions of relative current issues?
Answer 1. One cannot develop self knowledge by denying the existance of another human being. We learn about ourselves by recognizing our relationship with others, even a pre-born infant.
2. Personal growth is stunted by abortion because you are stuck with the fact that you have killed a human person and you never ever forget that. It haunts you and catches you up when you least expect it. You cannot grow as a person by denying the rights of others.
3. Moral values are how we treat others. "Do unto others as you would have done to you." Would you want somone to kill you becuase you were in their way, inconvenient as to time or place, or because they just didn't want to take the time to know and love you? Probably not, if you are honest with yourself. The tiny person conceived inside of you has the same expectations of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
4. Students live with many people, some they like, some they don't like. But they don't murder the ones they don't like. ABortion is murder of a person who is not LIKED, a very selfish act when you think about it.
