About Tara Wantz
Expertise
I can answer any general, nondiagnostic questions regarding abortion. I can also refer you to a number of good web sites for more information.

Experience
As a teenaged mother my pro-life views are honest and out of experience. I am not a holy roller and do not see abortion as a strictly religious problem, so I can answer questions without implying religion, only reason.

Subject: When Life Begins

Question
When does does is life considered to begin according to medical professionsals.

Answer
Skyler,

I suppose it depends on the professional. Some believe that life begins at conception. Some wait until they can detect the heartbeat (About 14 days). Still others do not believe that the child is alive until it is born.

This is a good question, but a loaded one and one of the main reasons why the abortion debate is so difficult.

Tara
