Question
hello I am doing an important project on abortion and I need an experts opinion. I was wondering if you would answer some questions for me...

1.what side of abortion are you on?
2.why have you chosen this side?
3.how many women have abortions each year?
4.do you know anyone who has had an abortion, and if so has it effected their life in any way?

thank you for your time

Answer
I am on the pro-life side on the abortion issue, based on my belief that a human life has been added to humanity and should not be terminated.  The life, although, it cannot survive on its own (which is one reason "pro-choice" people use for their position), still needs protection, the same as people in mental hospitals do.  Besides, babies outside the womb cannot survive on their own.  I also believe in the God of the bible, who created all things.  I do not believe that we should tamper with His creation, especially that of human life.  I see the pro-choice movement that extols a selfish ideal, whereas the pro-life movement promotes responsibility.
I have read that about 1,300,000 women have abortions per year, an alarmingly high number.
No, I am not aware of anyone personally who has had an abortion, but I am sure that there are some that I know, who do not discuss or have revealed that they have done this.  I would assume they feel regret and a loss, unless hard-hearted.
Thank you for your inquiry.  I hope it has been of some help.
