Question
I respect and honor your opinion. Having said that, my question is:
Let's take as an example, a drug addicted 18 year old girl. No husband. No money. She's pregnant. She is living with here abusive drug addicted boyfriend who got her pregnant.
Would it be better in this situation for her to have an abortion,
            OR
to bring the baby into a world of drugs, violence, crime, no money, no loving mother, etc.
Which would be better??....
And if bringing the baby into the world, how would you get the baby out of that situation so the baby could grow up a normal life?
Thanks for your input.........

Answer
I appreciate the question and it's importance.  The best situation is a good situation.  Having said that, it seems not much good could come of this, and it would be easy for some who label themselves "pro-choice" to say to let the pregnant girl get an abortion, get her life on track, and then down the road when life is better she can pursue having a child.
The answer I see though is that the child has a right to life.  There have been a growing number of private agencies, many church-related, who would willingly help her to find a home for her child.  This could be done with love and compassion.  There's a saying that "an adopted child is a wanted child".  That is so very true.  The child's biological mother would benefit years later, knowing she helped give the child a better home than what she could have.
Thank you for the question.
