About Tara Wantz
Expertise
I can answer any general, nondiagnostic questions regarding abortion. I can also refer you to a number of good web sites for more information.

Experience
As a teenaged mother my pro-life views are honest and out of experience. I am not a holy roller and do not see abortion as a strictly religious problem, so I can answer questions without implying religion, only reason.

Subject: abortion v. adoption

Question
Okay, so here is my question. I don't know if I could ever stand to be pregnant, but if I am pregnant, I think I would want to give the baby up for adoption to a gay couple. What do you think of this idea? Personally, I think it would be great. Gay couples, I'm sure, have a harder time adopting. I really hate those right-wing entitlement cows too, and I wouldn't want any of them to get ahold of one of my offspring. Let me know what you think please.

Answer
Laura,

I think that would be a great idea, the only thing is, I wouldn't know the first thing about how you would go about that.

Since you found my name where you did I'm sure you know I'm VERY pro-life, but that doesn't mean I'm right-wing (I'm one of those lonely dems who is anti-abortion and screwed cause I never have a Candidate that will vote to oppose abortion). I think the way so many people try to limit the rights of homosexual men and woman is utter crap. A word of advice, some states have made your decision for you regarding adoption, they do not allow gay couples to adopt. Look into your own states laws on this if you are that serious so you will know, should you get pregnant, if you'll have to travel to meet this goal.

Tara
