Question I 48 and have been in a mental and physical mariage for 6yrs. We do not have children. My husband is a acholic and will not get help. My problem is he will not leave I do not love him and I have asked him many times to leave. I am the bread winner in the family, so finances are not a problem. I have never called the cops we are known in the community and I would be embarrest. He will not go to counseling but in the mean time I am afraid one day he will really hurt me. What can I do??

As long as you don't give yourself options you can't do much. I would suggest you move in with a friend. At a minimum filing for a legal separation would be something you might consider doing.Start putting things into your name so that you won't have financial obligations with him.
