Question
I've known this girl for about two months and she deals with a lot of problems. She is fifteen now and she's been depressed since she was about ten or eleven. Since then she's tried to commit suicide on seven separate occasions. Her father is physically abusive on and off and she's on a number of different medications for mental problems. She see's a girl that isn't there who'll scream for help and dissapear, and she's said that she wears a mask around other people, that pretends everything is okay and that she's fine, and the times she's tried to kill herself are the times she's taken her mask off. I know she suffered some form of sexual abuse when she was younger too, but her Dad wasn't responsible and I don't know about it beyond that. She's convinced no one cares and that she's fine living with her dad's abuse but I know she can't keep living like this, it's unhealthy, she's never truly happy, she just pretends she is. What can I do to help? I feel like I have to get her out of her dad's house first, but that she wouldn't be better off in an orphanage, and I've been trying to figure out if there's a way she could stay with one of her friends families. And I need to convince her that she's better off away from him first. It's overwhelming, where do I start?

Dear Rob,

This girl needs professional therapies. Team work is needed  in this.

She   must be separated from all potential abusive atmosphere first. She must pray to God every day.
