I really dont know what to do.About 3 years ago I noticed my partner kept popping up in places he shouldnt have been-like outside my mothers house-I'd never taken him there,a little while after this I started noticing a group of men following me every where i went ,taking it in turns in groups of twos and threes-a few of them my partner had either introduced me to or I'd noticed them hanging around near his house,this is still going on now-but the creepiest thing of all is that my partner dosent even seem that jealous-I would never in a million years have thought he was stalking me before-I used to worry he'd think I was too keen.We only see each other once every couple of weeks-I havent dumped him because what is the point if he knows where I am at all times to bother me anyway.I've been too scared to go to the police because I didn't think anyone would beleive I'm not crazy or seeking attention.I also thought there would be counter allegations made-he is a big time liar.When he sees that ive seen him in the street he blanks me-when I phone him and ask him what he was doing in my neighbourhood he denies it and starts screaming at me-even though once when it happened he had the same clothes on that I'd seen him in earlier- when i'd been to his house.He say's some really weird things sometimes that don't make sense-like we'll be having a conversation then he'll suddenly say something really bizarre and unrelated -then ill say what and he'll say he didnt say anything.He can hold a normal conversation when he wants to though ,so he can't be completely insane.Also,once he beat me up and every time he hit me he said yessss-as if his team had just scored a goal or somthing.Then, even though I was the one with the bruises he said something to the effect of you go to the police then,lets see who gets locked up in a really confident voice like he had some lie up his sleeve.He dosent seen remotely scared of getting in trouble,which creeps me out.Also these people who help him stalk me give me the creeps too.They shout abuse at me in the street and some of the things they yell are really strange-the kind of thing children in the playground say- except these people are mostly in their 50's. I am barely out of my teens and I cannot understand what it is they get out of bullying me.They don't seem to be afraid of getting caught either.I have known my partner for 8 years on and off and some weird incidents have happened 5 or 6 years ago-the kind of things his freinds do ,so the stalking may have been going on a very long time-when I met him I was just a child so I don't know why he would either be so obsessed with me or hate me so much-have you ever heard anything like this before and what do you think it could possibly be if I had an idea I wouldnt be so afraid to go to the police please take me seriously as I am at my wits end .Thankyou

The only way this will stop is to file a complaint with the police because you can get a restraining order against this guy. I knew a girl who broke up with this guy and he stalked her for months until he showed up at her house and shot and killed her when she opened the door and then turned the gun on himself. I would not want you to be a statistic which is what happens and you are better off reporting this before it gets out of hand. Sounds like your ex has some problems and isnt accepting the fact that the relationship between you and him is over.
