Question
My sister confides and her husband confide a lot in me and they decide to bring me into a bit a situation. I won't bore you so I will go directly into detail.
My sister and brother in law have been married for over 2 years...no kids. They love one another very much however they do fight a lot as well. Their fights has finally gotton out of hand. For the past few fights my sister slaps him and pushes him and throws things and breaks things....this past weekend he looks his cool as well and kicked her in the stomach and pushed her on the floor. They are both very upset at themselves and they have promised not to let that happen again.
I just want you help to answer this questions.
1) Is this normal?
2) Do they love each other..I mean how could you leave one another when you fight like that?
3) Should either of them feel guilty?
4) They fight over a lot about parents...should parents be a reason to fight about? Because his mom call his him a lot and he loves his mom my sister gets very upset.

Answers for your questions
1) Is this normal?
It is not normal. A tussle between husband and wife once in a while is normal. However if fights are often and leading to verbal abuse, physical abuse spoiling the peace of family, this needs serious counseling
2) Do they love each other..I mean how could you leave one another when you fight like that?
Only a couple of sessions with a counselor will answer the above question
3) Should either of them feel guilty?
It is ok to feel guilty for a very short time, however guilty feelings should be followed by self introspection leading to positive changes in both
4) They fight over a lot about parents...should parents be a reason to fight about? Because his mom call his him a lot and he loves his mom my sister gets very upset.
Parents cannot be a reason for fight.
