My fiance and I have been together off and on for 3 years and we have a 20 month old son. He is physically and verbally abusive to me but is working on finding a medication that helps to control his temper. He hasn't found the right one yet but I can tell he is trying to take care of his problems. Our wedding is in 2 months. Should I go through with it in the hopes that he will get better?

not unless you're prepared to live with more of the same, or worse; i wouldn't trust ANY abusive person unless they've undergone 3 years of psychotherapy with a psychiatrist, and the shrink told you DIRECTLY that the guy was cured; "working on finding the right med.."??..pretty weak when thinkin about signin up for a lifetime....
