Question
I believe my husband suffers with workaholism and I am so codependent I can't separate his stuff from mine so I can move forward in my life and who I am. We have had allot of counseling at church and are followers of Christ who struggle with are flesh. I have been waiting for my husband and his career I stay home with the kids 12,8,7,16 mo. and get nervous about getting out of the house without the kids he is always working or doing side jobs to make $ and he needs me to care for the kids. Why does he work himself to the point he can't shower or brush his teeth he falls on the bed and after 14 years of fighting I now got him to pull down the covers he gets soo tired he can't function. How do I take over the finances? He works like crazy but spends the same way its always crisis and we r always in a hurry cuz he is behind at work even though he is the fastest and most skilled guy in the business so many bosses have told me that he takes on a huge project gets all pumped up to do it this is the first part then there is part two he gets other guys to help him because the deadline is unattainable then it falls apart knowone can work the long hours or are not smart enough to do it them the anger comes at me and it is bad this is the 3rd time but I'm really reaching out for help  then he gets fired or taken advantage of and quits then he loves me again and i see his pain and know he is broken and scared and I do everything to be there to support him but we keep doing these jobs or businesses over and over and moving all the time how do i get my life out of this crazy cycle? And work or go to school love god raise these kids? When we so from job to job move all over start new business with people who aren't christians I'm so tired- Bless you I thankyou just for the oppertunity to write this to another believer and feel the receiver will help if its possible, we are all family and are God is so Good more than what I can write of-Thankyou

There is hope. God  is willing to change your   whole life. All you have to    do  is  "Seek the  kingdom of God first,and  the rest will be  given to you" Mt:6-33

How to begin this??!!!.

You have to make choices now!

Ask your husband  to take  a  3 day holiday.Lock yourself in a  room  and  initiate  a  fasting,prayer and  silence  for  24 x 3 hours. Repeat the verse incessantly, loudly(both of you), "I will instruct  you and teach you the  way you should go, and I will counsel you with my eyes  up on you" Ask God  diligently  His wi for your life and pour out your heart to  God. Do this  and  get back to me.
