Question
I have been in a relationship for 10 years of and on with this man who asked me to marry him a few months ago.  I thought that after our intense breakup about 2 years ago that he had changed.  He did complete a anger management course and had yet to be abusive sense we reconnected 8 months ago. To my discovery not only did he change but he has chosen to do things to embarrasses me anywhere.  He is verbally abusive at my job and makes me feel like I am really doing some thing wrong.  I do not know how to talk to him and when I do instead of listening to me he just blows up and becomes more abusive (verbally).  He has done this to me at my place of employment and that makes me uneasy about going home so i don't know what to do about this relationship.  I have said yes to man about marrying him and now I feel as if he is only going to become more abusive if we marry.  The wedding is 45 days away and I don't know what to do.  How do I say its off without being concerned about the outcome.
