Question
I've been with my boyfriend for 10 months. At first he was great we would have so much fun together. For the past 3-4 months things have been changing. I remember the first time he smacked me (in the face) was in the car. I didn't say much I think I was just very shocked that he did that. Then after a few weeks he started with calling me names like bitch and whore, also telling me I was ugly. Now recently it's gotten  worse he has been pullin my hair punching me in the stomach smacking my face. I just don't know what to do anymore. He is also very controlling I can't talk to anyone I have no friends anymore. He drives my car so I can't go anywhere without him. Sometimes he calls me a loser and says I'm doing nothing with my life. I am 26 years old I've been at my job for 7 years and I make $500 a week I think that pretty good. Sorry I jumped from on thing to another but I was trying to get it all out. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks

Answer
why are you staying with this jerk??..he's not only physically/emotionally abusive, but he should be in prison for assault; hopefully you think you deserve more than this;  it will only get worse; spend every free moment making a plan as to how you will leave--include getting a restraining order against him,  asking once friends or family to help, or even contacting the social services dept in your city/town to get in contact with a battered women's group...
