Question Hi. I am 16 and my very first boyfriend is 17. We have been going out for 2 months. At first, he was very sweet, kind and wonderful. He is obsessive compulsive because he told me. He does not like his mother or his father, but especially his mom. He has been very great until now...He swears at me, yells at me for no real reason at school in front of people. Tells me to f^&*( off for no reasonn. when I meet my girlfriends in the hall and was laughing he called me a f&^%$#@ retard in front of everyone. I let it go because he has just started on steroids for his weight lifting. He says he is sorry that it is just the pills talking. He will quit them. I almost broke up with him twice but he CRIED!! And I just cant let go. I don't want to hurt him. He says he has never cared for someone so quickly before as he cares for me and that he cant be without me. He says he will break all windows and walls and break his hands if I break up with him. He is really great most of the time and then the next minute he goes all dark and mean....and I dont know what I have done wrong? he gets very mad at school if I dont kiss him when he wants a kiss. I told him I was uncomfortable kissing him in front of my teachers so he just grabbed me and kissed me anyways, Igot kind of mad and he just smiled. My friends tell me he is wrong and "psyco and weird" and they are worried for me and my parents really dont like him at all. I dont want to hurt him and I still really care for him and I really want to prove them all wrong. He is only mean to me because of the steroids.. Could he really be abusive?
Answer stop using the steroids (which he shouldn't even be taking), to justify his behavior; his verbal/physical abusiveness and disrespect are just the tip of the iceberg; the guy has serious emotional issues and needs counseling; the more involved you get, the worse it could be; get out now..
