Question
I was recently terminated from my job of 7 years for allegations made by my neice's husband. The allegations came after I filed for custody of her son due to violence and substance abuse problems. The allegations are false.

Does the company have to pay me for all of my accurred vacation, sick days, and holidays time?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Answer
They only have to pay you for the time if the following is true:

They have promised to pay it upon termination either in writing or in an employee handbook.

They have paid other terminated employees for their vacation, sick and holiday time.

Of if you live in the state of California they have somewhat different rules.
