Question
Hi Arthur, it is Patricia again...

I wonder if you can help me with other acronyms. They appear in the following phrases:

Leasehold Improvements – S Begining Balance
Leasehold Improvements – S Add
A/A – Leasehold Impvmts Sign Begining Balance
Leasehold Improvements L/H Add
Leasehold Improvements L/H Ret

I have found that "L/H" could mean "leasehold improvement", but have no idea of what "S" or "Sign" could mean. I would deeply appreciate if you can give me a hand again!

Best,

Patricia

Answer
I would agree that "L/H" probably means leasehold. "Sign" might mean simply a sign as advertisement in front of the building or store.

As to "S" I am not sure what that could mean. I first thought it might mean short term but that is normally abbreviated S/T and not simply S.

So that's the best I can do at this time. I see you also asked the question on answers.yahoo.com -- perhaps there or other source will provide an explicit answer.
