Question
hello, my name is brian, and i got a question for you. my company pays us on the 1st and the 15th of each month. so they cut the hours on the 10th and the 15th. my company is trying to make us cut our hours every 14 days know but still paying twice a month. so therefore in 2-3 months we are going to be about two weeks behind in hours and so forth. there was no notice or anything. they told us to do our time cards on the 8th and they pretty much said deal with it. can they do that. or at least give us a notice in advance. also if they keep making us do this should they pay us every 2 weeks. thank you and i hope you can shed some light on this for me.

Answer
The company needs to give a notice to the employees before any work is done under the new changes.

They also should be paying every two weeks if they are cutting time off in two week intravals.

You can call and discuss it with the Department of Labor in your state. They will investigate and talk to the company.  You cannot be terminated for doing this.
