Answer This is the most fantastic question I have ever received in my inbox. Thank you for the smile! It's pronounced "Key-o" with a very VERY slight hissing sound at the end. Almost like you're trying to sound like an angry cat, but very quietly. I'm sure linguists and speech therapists have a name for the sound I'm talking about, but that's the best I can come up with. But most people just drop that last little bit- it's so quiet that no one will notice anyway.
I'm so glad you asked! People tend to sound a heck of a lot more ignorant if they insist on saying something incorrectly than if they ask once. :0)
