Question
If i receive my paycheck on every Mondays(weekly). when should i receive my cheque if monday is a holiday. and if i receive it on the Tues. is that because of the banks or because our company didn't submit payroll earlier due to the x-Xmas holiday.

Answer
By your use of the word "cheque" rather than the USA common spelling "check" I presume you are not located in the USA. My answer is for the USA; having said that, practices vary here in the USA.

Normally if a payday falls on a holiday, then the payday is the following regular work day. In particular if the payroll is paid via direct deposit, then I am more certain about my answer. For smaller companies, they often pay early in instances where a payday falls on a holiday; paydays are ofter the day before the holiday.

At least that has been my experience.
