Question If a company fires you for just cause, and you are fully vested, are they required to pay you your pension in the state of Missouri?
Answer I am not familiar about the laws in Missouri. However, federal law does pre-empt stae law and under federal law under almnost all circumstances you must receive your vested pension. If there is a problem, contact the local opffice of the U.S. Dept of Law - Employee Benefits Security Administration.
