Question
hi my boss pays biweekly but im not getting as much hours on that i work i think its because he holds the friday back from the second week and adds the hours in total and doesnt do each week seperate so i lose overtime pay from the first week is this legal or am i getting screwd

Answer
My understanding is that the question of overtime is to be determined on a weekly basis regardless of when the pay periods fall.

Accordingly, in my opine what is being done is wrong.

You might consider talking to a labor attorney; than depending on the out come, talk to the department in your state which is responsible for such matters.
