Question
I filed for my deceased husbands pension, and I am getting the run around and no answers He died 9/13/85. I filed in 1986, paper work was lost so said. I have chased around for years to find, where to file again, I finally found.I filed again, and got the paper work on 11/17/09.I did the paper work,and sent in 11/20/09. I have heard nothing from them. I called 4/19/2010, and I was told they were looking at it. I have heard nothing since. I have been trying to find a lawyer here in my area that will take my case,on if I win situation, because I have not the money to pay for one. Do I have any hope or anything on this matter? Could you please help me? I would be forever grateful.
