Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues/Changing Payroll Frequency

Question
We want to change from a weekly payroll to a semi-monthly payroll. We're in Texas, what are the regulations/requirements for how much notice we have to give employees?

Answer
I could not find a time period in either the federal or Texas regulations. Texas simply says that the employee must be paid at least semi monthly and if no payperiods are established they should be paid on the 1st and 15th of the month.

Federal regulations simply says the employee must be paid on established payperiods.

Here I have given 30 days notice when changing pay periods.
