Question
This is from a question I asked prior. The problem I have is that we were asked to work 7 days a week and anywhere from 12-18 hours days, with the concession that we would get 3-4 weeks pay at the end of the season when we were not working. 2 employees were paid their money and they have not paid me mine stating that I took a job with the same company in another city. I finished out the season as did the other employees. Difference was I went to work elsewhere and they were off on vacation. So I am wondering do I have a right to that pay?

Answer
That would be a type of unemployment or vacation pay. If you were working you are not eligible for that type of pay.

If it was vacation pay perhaps you are eligible to now take off the vacation time and be paid for it. Check with your supervisor or HR person to see if you have vacation you can use.
