Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues/Accounting impossible

Question
I got an associate's degree in accounting back in 2010. Ever since, I have diligently searched and applied for jobs in accounts receivable, payable, and book keeping. And ever single company has turned me down because I don't have experience. We'll, how do you get experience if no one gives you a chance. I can use that diploma for nothing. I have to pay 30k in student loans for what.  My question is there any company that you know of that hires people for accounting like me that don't have experience?  Maybe something I missed? Thank you

Answer
Your problem is a perennial problem;  it's been true for decades.

You may have to work at jobs beneath your education level to get
experience. Second, consider moving to another location where jobs are
available.

I would also suggest your talking to guidance counselors from your school, or an
online source.

You may have to work at a job outside your educational background and then
volunteer at nonprofits to get experience.

Finally, there are I believe people on this web site which may be able to help
you better than I can.
