Accounting, Payroll & Pension Issues/Pension Benefit

Question
I am a former employee of Jordan Marsh (Allied-Federated Stores) in Boston.  I left there in 1987/1988 after working there for about 8 years.  Can I expect anytime of pension benefits from them?  I do remember having money deducted weekly but I cannot find anything on line.

Can you possibly help me out?

Thank you,

Kathy

Answer
I really do not have a good answer for you. As mentioned in my profile, my expertise is in bookkeeping rather than pensions.

Try the Pension Benefit Guatanty Corporation at www.pbcc.gov.
Contact your employer, or who ever owns the company, Allied Federated Stores maybe.

Try asking this question of  Shirley McCallister, the other expert in this forum.
